Configure Nextcloud to use memcache
memcache should help in the peformance of your Nextcloud instance by keeping database queries stored in memory, rather than recalculating the query. This article describes how to set up memcache. I use cPanel with Siteground.
Start by logging on to cPanel.
- Click SuperCacher in the Advanced section.
- Select the Level 3: Memcached tab.
- Click the button to turn it on.
On the Nextcloud instance, open the /config/config.php file for editing, and add the following lines to the bottom of the file:
'memcache.distributed' => '\OC\Memcache\Memcached',
'memcached_servers' => array( array('127.0.0.1', 20000),)
Thanks for visiting.
