Using AWS allows you to build on-demand servers with Amazon's exising infrastructure.  Currently you can deploy Windows and Linux/Unix servers that can host many different applications for your school.

Here are some steps to get you started...

  1. You'll need to start by signing up to AWS.
  2. Next you'll need to sign up for Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2).
  3. Now you can get started with Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3).
