Do you need to register to get help?

The answer is no you don't!

You are free to browse, and you can even make comments, all without registering.

What's the advantage of registering then?

1. You will get access to some additional advanced articles.
2. You'll find lots of tried and tested open-source software in the Downloads section.
3. You won't have to enter the captcha code, or email address (both of which are taken at registration) whenever you make comments.

Are my details safe?

Only the minimum of detail is required to register (ie your name and email address), and the information is kept strictly in accordance with Data Protection Act 1998 regulations.  Additionally your details will not be passed on to any third party.
